Fashion Nails

Didn’t even make it to getting a service. Decided to go early due to being only two days before Christmas, saw the shop was open so walked in. There was one staff member giving one lady a pedicure and the shop was otherwise empty. After requesting a pedicure, the staff member advised she was by herself and requested I come back in 20 minutes. I had expected to wait so was more than happy with this and asked if I could sit on the chairs provided to wait instead of coming back, to which the staff member agreed. Immediately upon sitting down, the staff member turned to the customer she was working on and started speaking in a derogatory manner about me, implying I hadn’t listened to her and I was “stressing her out”. The customer was clearly uncomfortable with the conversation and I found it extremely unprofessional and upsetting. I immediately got up and left and went across the road to Roxy Nails, who were more than happy to accommodate me and the staff are very warm and polite.

I was getting a routine acrylic top up but the lady cut my fingers 2 x and burned me with the drill once. I actually bled on the towel present and still got charged $70. I didn’t say anything but really felt I should have received a discount considering I was cut open twice in the process. Very rough

Very Unpleasant experience.Booked in for mani & pedi (which is what i was charged for)However due to poor time management i sat in the chair for 30mins before i was taken care of.Then they ran out of time and just painted my nails, not the full manicure service.My nails were filed quickly and were left crooked and spikey.The colour was different to what i asked to, was messy and hardly covered my entire nail.I’m not usually one to complain but i was made to feel bad and rushed when i had booked in for a service.

I had a very pleasant experience. Was not rushed at all and the atmosphere was very relaxing. The music was not as loud as other places, and the staff were very friendly. Had the delux pedicure, shelac with chrome which cost $65. Will definitely be returning with my mum and sisters. Cannot wait for next month.

First time in fashion nails ocean keys.Had a wonderful experience Nails look great.The girls were exceptionally lovely and polite and actually care that you are happy with how you feel about your nails.If I could give more stars I would, I will definitely be back !

Going to the place was an all round terrible experience. I went with my seven year old niece who was excited to get her nails done for the very first time, and I was getting a pedicure. They told us the wait would be 20 minutes so I got set up in the pedicure seat and then we had to sit there for an hour. My niece was so patient because she was so excited to get sparkly Shellac on her fingers. They didn’t even serve us at the same time, she had to sit there while I got a pedicure. Then finally they did her fingers and she was so giddy the whole time. They rushed the job with her, didn’t prep her nails at all and within a couple of hours of getting home all of her Shellac started lifting. By the next day she had no colour left on her fingernails and she was so upset. Two hours and money wasted. I rang them thinking that it might have just been a bad day for them, I left a voicemail with a brief message and they never called me back. Please find waste your money or time here. So devastated that what should have been a fun Aunty/niece experience ended being so poor.

I just can’t recommend here. The ladies don’t talk to clients, no one smiles. The acrylic nails are thick, chunky & not pretty at all. I will never go back. Go to Profession Nail near QBD bookstore instead.

Been there 3 weeks in a row for various services so spent a good amount of money. Last visit was acrylic nails and one broke after 2 days. I was told with a shop full of people what did you do it must be something you did as if it was our fault you would have lost all 10". I said I was just washing and she said I don't think so you will have to pay! I will never go again. They are so nice to you when they are taking your money but certainly not if you complain."

I paid $70 for Shellac on my fingers and toes. It was so poorly painted, I left looking like I painted my nails blindfolded. It was all over my skin and cuticles. The shellac also started chipping within less than a week. I don’t know what they’re using but it can’t be a quality polish. Go elsewhere.
